The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation (RBSO) has joined hands with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), to hold the 33rd season of Concert in the Park at Sala Bhirombhakdi, Lumpini Park, from January 11th to March 1st, 2026.
Concert in the Park highlights

Each weekend, Concert in the Park will feature many star guest soloists and vocalists, as well as rising young talents, with the orchestra presenting a mix of light-classical music, Western and Thai pop classics, famous movie soundtracks, Broadway musical tunes, and exquisite Thai traditional tunes.
Conducted by Vanich Potavanich and Nora-ath Chanklum, the Lumpini Park performances in 2026 are being held every Sunday from 5:30 p.m. onward. The concert dates are as follows:
- January 11th, 18th, 25th
- February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd
- March 1st

About the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra

In 1982, the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (BSO) was founded by the Royal Patronage of His Royal HIghness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, which was later granted a royal permission to be renamed as the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.
The RBSO has been home to many talented musicians as well as conductors such as Timm Tzschaschel, John Georgiadis, Hikotaro Yazaki, Myung-Whun Chung, Loris Tjeknavorian, Barry Douglas, Mikhail Pletnev, Federico Mondelci, Charles Olivieri-Munroe, and our current music director Michel Tilkin.
