Returning for its second year, Colors of Buriram 2025 showcases the finest silk and handcrafted textiles from Buriram and beyond.
This grand exhibition bridges traditional weaving with modern fashion, featuring rare and antique fabrics, as well as innovative designs that reinvent Thai textiles for the modern age. Visitors can experience live weaving demonstrations and admire the intricate designs that reflect generations of craftsmanship.
Colors of Buriram Highlights
Like any great Thai festival, Colors of Buriram has something for everyone and at 29 days long, there is plenty of time to check it all out.
- “The Gradients” Textile Exhibition – As part of the “Pha Thai Sai Hai Sanook (Wearing Thai Fabrics with Fun)” royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, Colors of Buriram features “The Gradients” exhibition.
With over 2,000 handcrafted pieces from all 23 districts of Buriram on display, each zone showcased the rich heritage of Thai silk alongside modern applications in design and creative lifestyles. Exhibition visitors are taken on a journey of Buriram silk, from traditional weaving to contemporary fashion. - Local Eats and Arts – Local craftsman and eateries alike bring out the identity of Buriram at its bustling marketplace, replete with OTOP products, local handicrafts, and regional delicacies. Shop for unique handcrafted souvenirs and savor the intense flavors of the Isan (northeastern) region.
- Grand Floral Art Installation – A stunning display of 11 million Sabaeng flowers, crafted by over 2,000 volunteers, is the centerpiece of the festival. This breathtaking display celebrates the artistry and dedication of Buriram’s local communities.
The festival has drawn high-profile attention. Colors of Buriram 2025 has been graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, a patron of Thai arts and textiles, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, herself a champion of Thai soft power, and Thai stars like actress Mai Davika Hoorne and Buriram United footballer Narubadin Weerawatnodom.

Colors of Buriram 2025 is taking place from now until April 16th, 2025, during the hours of 11 am – 9 pm in front of Buriram’s Chang Arena.
