Sustainability for Business Forum 2022

This year, the Sustainability for Business Forum 2022 (SBF22) — the fifth edition of the forum — is being held on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis. The key theme of the forum is “Technology as Enabler.”

The aim of the forum is not only to connect the relevant potential sustainable partners and services but to also inspire the audience with the leading sustainable initiatives and projects in Asia. The goal is to empower businesses with innovative and effective strategies driven by economic, environmental, and social performance.

Event highlights

This year, there are three tracks for attendees to follow: 

• Green Construction

In the Green Construction track, the panelists will be discussing how to make cities more resilient to crises, what can be learned from the COVID management for climate change adaptation; what will cities offer in a new normal work play living environment; take from forward-thinking examples of shorter and relocalized supply cycles, socially inclusive communities, human-centric and holistic planning, revised usage of infrastructure and rethink urban systems towards self sufficiency.

C-suite executives and key decision makers from Bouygues-Thai, Dextra, Nebula Corporation Limited (a subsidiary of MQDC), Artelia Cornerstone, Greenyellow, and Schneider Electric will take part in this track.

• Agri- & Foods Innovation

The Agri- & Foods Innovation track will focus on the topic of innovation to move forward healthy food, sustainable supply chain and viable agriculture which are securing safer products for consumers, better revenue and environment for farmers communities and growing income for companies. 

C-suite executives and key decision makers from Thammasat University, Sustenir, Orlar, PRIVA SE ASIA, and LightBlue will take part in this track.

• Sustainable Digitalization

Sustainable Digitalization, or sustainable digital transformation, refers to the process of digitizing the economy in a long-lasting, green, and organic way by building on its key strength: innovative SMEs and MNEs and their business ecosystems. The definition of a sustainable digital transformation is along three interconnected dimensions: sustainable B2B digitalization, green(er) technologies and a circular economy, and innovation-enabling policy and regulation.

C-suite executives and key decision makers from SUPERNAP (Thailand), PALO IT, Sasin School of Management, and Ericsson will take part in this track.

And these three tracks will be followed by the CEO or Executive Panel, in which 3–4 CEOs from regional and global companies have implemented sustainability transversely through their business organization, infrastructure, operations, and supply chain.
