Thailand Game Day
Calling all gamers: the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA) has collaborated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to host Thailand Game Day on Friday, June 11th, 2021. Watch the whole event from the Facebook Pages of the TGA and MFA from 12:00pm to 2:30pm, Bangkok time.
Thailand Game Day is the first-ever online event promoting Thailand’s gaming industry in South Korea. The event features the most up-and-coming Thai games, gamers, and developers, plus a friendly League of Legends: Wild Rift match between two rising esports teams from Thailand and South Korea.
Thailand’s very own Buriram United E-sports Team will face off against South Korea’s Team Olympus. Thai shoutcasters Baggings & Nerfgy and Korean shoutcaster “Dongjin Oppa” Park Dongjin will be providing the live match commentary.
Other highlights include a mini concert by Thailand’s very own virtual idol, Aisha, performing songs in both Thai and Korean, as well as a showcase of 20 Thai games across all genres, such as action, survival, roleplaying (RPG), casual, strategy, and simulation.
There will also be a special webinar meet & greet with the extraordinary minds behind four world-class Thai games:
– Home Sweet Home: Survive by YGGDrazil Group
– Bounty Brawl by Igloo Studio
– Mass Builder by Vermillion Digital
– Timelie by Urnique Studio
The webinar will be hosted by Taksapol Sriwachirawat (better known as Pochi Tomodachi).
